CODE OF CONDUCT

Category Guidelines:

  • Any and all decisions made by the category heads are final and cannot be challenged, any arguments with the heads will not be tolerated.
  • The delegates should use their registered full names and should not use any aliases.
  • The delegates must only use the e-mail addresses that will be submitted during the registration procedure for submitting their work for the categories.
  • Any work that the delegates submit or perform for any category must be entirely original and authentic, any form of plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification of the delegation.
  • Delegates should carry their own accessible internet devices if they require the use of the internet in any category-related work.
  • If any delegate from any delegation is caught defying the rules of any category, they will be immediately disqualified.

Ethical Behaviour:

  • Any advantage (intimidating, discouraging remarks, any sexual advances, inappropriate action(s) or manipulation of any kind) taken over other delegates or the Studio 55’s management will not be entertained and will result in the disqualification of the delegate/delegation.
  • The delegates must not be under the influence of any substance during the event. Smoking, vaping, consumption of alcohol, and drugs on campus and/or outside the property is strictly prohibited.
  • If the delegates are found to be accessories to the breach of security of the event, which includes but is not limited to; damaging the school property, entering the restricted areas, creating excessive noise or commotion, or giving away confidential information to people that are not a part of the event, they will be disqualified alongside their delegation.
  • Delegates are strictly prohibited from re-entering the campus grounds on the same day once they have left.

Language:

  • Use of any profane language or any actions promoting any form of violence will not be tolerated & will lead to immediate disqualification and removal from campus. All members of the management as well as custodial staff may be treated with utmost respect, failure to do so will lead to aforementioned consequences.

Harassment:

  • Harassment includes but is not limited to derogatory remarks towards any individual, any form of verbal or physical abuse, embarrassing or putting a fellow delegate in an uncomfortable position, sexual harassment; any non consensual physical or verbal gestures or remarks whether it be via WhatsApp or On Campus will not be tolerated.
  • Delegates must not argue or misbehave with judges or category heads in regards to category decisions, all judgements are final and irreversible.
  • Discrimination based gender, caste, colour, sexual orientation, age, disability, educational or economic background is not permissible.

Equity:

  • This year we plan to introduce an Equity committee at our events that will directly and exclusively fall under the Executive Council (the Head Girls). This announcement will be made prior to the event on social media pages as well as at the opening ceremony.
